$22-$28 per hour, based on experience We are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee daily yard activities at a busy equipment operation in Campbell, CA. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable working around heavy equipment, operating forklifts, coordinating a team, and maintaining a safe, organized yard. What You'll Do Supervise and coordinate daily yard activities and staff Assign work, manage schedules, and help ensure tasks are completed efficiently Organize equipment and keep the yard clean, orderly, and safe Coordinate loading and unloading of equipment for deliveries, pickups, and returns Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely Inspect equipment for visible damage, cleanliness, and readiness Perform basic equipment and mechanical checks and report issues when needed Assist customers and drivers with equipment pickups and returns Communicate with office and operations teams regarding equipment availability and priorities Help maintain and enforce workplace safety procedures Work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment What We're Looking For Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in a yard, equipment, construction, rental, warehouse, or similar environment Hands-on experience with forklifts and heavy equipment Understanding of safe equipment handling and yard operations Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working in a physically active, outdoor environment Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work well with a team High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license and a good driving record preferred Ideal Backgrounds Candidates with experience as a Yard Supervisor, Yard Manager, Yard Lead, Equipment Rental Supervisor, Equipment Manager, Yard Foreman, Construction Yard Lead, or similar are encouraged to apply.
