Full-Time Job Summary The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Fulfillment Department while leading and supporting a team of Fulfillment Team Members. This position ensures orders are picked, packed, and prepared accurately and efficiently to meet company standards, customer requirements, and production deadlines. The Fulfillment Lead serves as the primary point of contact on the floor, providing direction, training, coaching, and support to team members while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities  Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the Fulfillment team to ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time.  Assign work and monitor employee productivity throughout the shift.  Train new employees in fulfillment procedures, food safety standards, GMPs, and company policies.  Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members to improve performance and accuracy.  Verify order accuracy and ensure compliance with company quality standards.  Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or priorities to meet operational demands.  Conduct regular audits of completed orders to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.  Communicate production goals, priorities, and updates to the team.  Assist with picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and other fulfillment duties as needed.  Report inventory discrepancies, product shortages, quality concerns, and operational issues to management.  Ensure proper use of equipment, pallet jacks, Forklifts and warehouse systems (FIFO).  Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the fulfillment area.  Enforce company policies, safety procedures, GMPs, and food safety requirements.  Assist management with employee performance evaluations, attendance monitoring, and corrective actions when necessary.  Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors.  Serve as acting department leader in the absence of the Supervisor or Manager. Leadership Responsibilities  Utilize company computer systems to review orders, inventory, production schedules, and operational reports.  Communicate effectively with management and team members using Slack and other company communication platforms.  Monitor and respond to department-related Slack messages in a timely and professional manner.  Update department status, production progress, inventory concerns, and operational issues through Slack channels as required.  Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation related to fulfillment operations.  Support the implementation and use of warehouse management systems, FIFO, inventory systems, and other operational software.  Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.  Foster a positive and productive work environment.  Address employee concerns and escalate issues to management when appropriate.  Promote employee engagement, safety awareness, and operational excellence.  Monitor attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company standards. Requirements  Ability to read and understand English picklists and operational documents.  Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.  Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.  Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.  Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.  Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently.  Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.  Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications  Minimum 2 years of fulfillment, warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.  Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.  Experience with warehouse management systems (FIFO), and inventory control processes.  Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and warehouse safety practices.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Performance Expectations  Meet daily order fulfillment targets.  Maintain high order accuracy rates.  Support inventory accuracy and product quality standards.  Maintain a safe and organized work environment.  Effectively train and develop team members.  Demonstrate leadership that supports productivity, accountability, and teamwork.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
