$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Position Summary The Shipping Coordinator / Analyst is responsible for preparing domestic and international shipments, verifying shipping documents, entering shipment data, and ensuring products are packaged and shipped accurately. This position requires shipping experience, computer skills, sit-down forklift experience, and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments. Verify shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and shipping records. Count, weigh, and measure products. Determine shipping methods. Prepare and apply shipping labels and postage. Pack products into wooden or cardboard containers. Prepare crates and containers with shipping information and instructions. Verify outgoing shipments meet specifications. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Record shipment weights and shipping charges. Enter and verify shipping and export information. Work with Trade Compliance on international shipments. Use OCR software for export filing and data entry. Learn and use ERP software for shipping and inventory information. Package sensitive, heavy, and bulky instruments, systems, and parts. Handle domestic and international shipments, with approximately 70% of shipments going international. Operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, tier lift trucks, and hand trucks. Move products and shipments weighing more than 50 lbs. Follow import and export requirements. Maintain accurate shipping records. Follow company safety procedures and use required PPE. Maintain shipment accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications High school diploma or
GED. 2-5
years of related shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing experience. Sit-down forklift experience required. Forklift certification required. Experience with domestic and international shipping preferred. Strong computer and data entry skills. Experience with ERP systems preferred. Knowledge of inventory, manufacturing, database, spreadsheet, and word processing software. Ability to read bills of lading, invoices, shipping documents, safety rules, and procedures. Ability to perform basic math using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to solve basic shipping and logistics problems. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to work safely and follow company procedures. Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 preferred.
