Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Shipping Coordinator to join our logistics team. In this role, you will oversee the coordination of shipping and receiving activities, ensuring that products are dispatched accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with trade regulations. Responsibilities Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, including order picking, packing, and loading/unloading shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks Utilize warehouse management systems and ERP software such as AS400 or similar platforms to track inventory levels, process orders, and update records accurately Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stocking, packaging, and labeling of products in accordance with company standards and trade compliance requirements Oversee order fulfillment processes to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining accuracy in order picking and packing procedures Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and shipping documentation requirements for domestic and international shipments Monitor inventory levels through inventory management software to facilitate timely replenishment and prevent stock discrepancies Collaborate with logistics providers to arrange transportation schedules, load & unload shipments efficiently, and resolve any shipping & receiving issues promptly Maintain detailed data entry records related to shipment tracking, inventory adjustments, and customer orders for reporting purposes Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline warehouse distribution processes Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management within a distribution environment Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and Microsoft Office applications Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, and international trade regulations Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate professionally across teams and external partners Familiarity with trade compliance standards and international trade regulations is a plus If you are a motivated professional eager to contribute your expertise in shipping logistics and warehouse operations, we encourage you to apply today.
