SUPERVISOR - WAREHOUSE

Available as needed Fairway Staffing is currently looking for an experienced and dependable Floor Supervisor to join a busy warehouse operation in Corona. We are looking for someone who has strong leadership skills, warehouse experience, and is comfortable being hands-on and working alongside a team . JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Floor Supervisor, you will help oversee the daily activities of the warehouse and ensure associates are working safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise and support warehouse associates throughout the shift. Assign daily work and ensure tasks are completed on time. Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and overall performance. Coordinate daily warehouse workflow and prioritize assignments. Oversee shipping and receiving operations . Assist with inbound and outbound shipments . Verify products, quantities, labels, and shipping documentation. Review manifests and ensure orders are accurate before shipment. Assist with picking, packing, staging, and material handling . Monitor inventory and assist with inventory counts. Communicate with drivers and carriers when needed. Help coordinate loading and unloading activities. Operate warehouse equipment when qualified, including stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and cherry pickers . Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety, and job expectations. Coach employees when performance or safety concerns arise. Communicate staffing or operational issues to management. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Ensure all employees follow required PPE and safety procedures . Assist management with maintaining a productive and positive work environment. Be willing to step in and assist with warehouse duties when necessary The ideal candidate will have: Previous Warehouse Lead, Floor Supervisor, or Supervisory experience . Experience in a distribution, store-goods, shipping, or receiving environment . Strong knowledge of warehouse operations. Previous forklift experience strongly preferred. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse computer systems preferred. Ability to read and understand shipping documents and manifests. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to delegate tasks and hold employees accountable. Ability to train and coach employees. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and make decisions when needed. Ability to communicate professionally with employees, management, drivers, and carriers. Must be comfortable working on the warehouse floor and assisting with physical warehouse duties .
