In this pivotal role, you will oversee the outbound operations within our warehouse, ensuring efficient distribution, accurate inventory control, and seamless shipping processes. Duties Lead and manage the outbound warehouse team to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders while maintaining high accuracy levels. Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory control to prevent discrepancies. Coordinate with shipping carriers and 3PL providers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring compliance with shipping deadlines. Implement process improvements using warehouse management systems (WMS) to enhance operational efficiency. Supervise materials handling activities, including heavy lifting and forklift operations, adhering strictly to OSHA safety standards. Monitor warehouse distribution workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for continuous process improvement. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure team compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety policies. Support warehouse supervisor responsibilities by training staff on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on outbound logistics; warehouse supervisor experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and logistics software such as Warehouse Management or similar platforms. Hands-on experience with forklift operation and mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures within e-commerce, retailer or 3PL settings. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process documentation. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks as required by warehouse operations.
