Overview We are seeking an experienced LTL (Less Than Truckload) Lead to oversee and coordinate our warehouse distribution operations related to LTL shipments. This role involves managing daily logistics activities, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient process execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics and inventory management systems. The LTL Lead will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement within our distribution center. Duties Supervise daily LTL shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. Manage, train, and guide a team of LTL clerks, driving performance through clear communication and strong leadership. Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to schedule pickups, deliveries, and resolve shipping discrepancies. Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, stock organization, and space utilization using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Operate material handling equipment and RF barcode scanners safely while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Drive continuous process improvements using lean management principles to enhance warehouse productivity and workflow efficiency. Experience Proven leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center supervision. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory systems, RF barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment and thorough knowledge of safety standards. Solid understanding of shipping/receiving procedures, inventory control, and lean process improvement methodologies. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and managerial communication skills with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
