POSITION SUMMARY
Headlands Brewing is looking for a passionate and committed Warehouse/Logistics Lead to efficiently and effectively coordinate and ensure flawlessly executed deliveries to and from the brewery and distributor partners, as well as Bay Area taprooms. The role also requires supporting the management of shipping, receiving, and inventory control at our Pittsburg brewery. It's a full-time, hands-on role leading daily operations and SOPs, with the potential to grow into a greater support for the production and logistics team as Headlands Brewing grows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Loads and occasionally delivers beer to taprooms weekly, and handles occasional urgent order delivery/pickup at the distributor Builds orders, loads/fulfills, and ships finished beer to fulfill distributor orders in accordance with SOPs Manages inbound and outbound shipping and organization of inventory at the Pittsburg brewery Uploads and posts signed bills of lading and paperwork from receipts and shipments in Slack and the inventory management system Organizes finished goods, packaging materials, raw materials, and brewing equipment as they arrive Conducts end-of-month and end-of-quarter inventory counts of finished goods, merchandise, and packaging materials Supports production with packaging operations, including canning off-pack, keg cleaning, and keg filling Supports events at taproom locations, as well as off-site beer festivals and similar events as needed Supports and maintains a clean and tidy facility through best practices and end-of-day housekeeping tasks Manages packaging material inventories and flags low stock for reordering Leads Driver/Logistics Associates, following SOPs and daily operations
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Must be 21 years or older Clean driving record Certified to drive a forklift Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the demands of an ever-changing day Capable of moving ~160 lb kegs of beer regularly Attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational skills Follows written and verbal instructions Able to consistently work safely and efficiently Proficiency in inventory management systems and Slack
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Capable of moving ~160 lb kegs of beer regularly Certified to drive a forklift Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
