Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a dynamic distribution environment. This role is essential for ensuring efficient inventory management, safe handling of materials, and streamlined logistics processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols. 22/HR Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate operations. Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to promote team development. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate safe and efficient movement of goods. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory management systems to prevent discrepancies. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and enforce safety protocols across all warehouse activities. Coordinate logistics activities with transportation providers to ensure smooth distribution center operations. Utilize Microsoft Office tools and warehouse management systems for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Monitor warehouse operations for adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments, preparing documentation, and resolving discrepancies. Qualifications Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with demonstrated team leadership capabilities. Extensive knowledge of warehouse distribution, logistics, inventory control, and materials handling procedures. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and RF scanner technology. Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate cross-functional activities. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as lean management is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various types of warehouse equipment efficiently. Prior experience managing distribution center operations or large-scale warehouse environments is advantageous.
