DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure a safe and secure work environment Understand, implement and support completion of the daily plan Assist or lead pre-shift meetings Assign and delegate work as required to complete job assignments Provide necessary PPE, equipment and tools to complete work Conduct employee performance reviews and follow up on progress Act as backup to the Operations Manager during their absence Collect and communicate performance data Investigate and sign off on exceptions to the picking process Control work documents Authorize time cards Generate shift reports Recognize excellence Perform process walks Schedule put away material for returns Check special requirements loads when required Verify picking accuracy of all material handlers Other duties assigned by the Operations / Site Manager This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed in this position; they are only major duties.
