Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic, people-focused Warehouse Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and takes pride in leading teams that deliver quality products to customers—on time, every time.
In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations that support airline catering production, ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and flow of goods from receipt through delivery to the kitchen. You'll lead and engage a team, drive safety and performance initiatives, and ensure compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards. Success in this position comes from balancing operational efficiency with strong team leadership—motivating employees, optimizing processes, and maintaining a culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

- Warehouse Operations
- Supervise personnel to maintain proper requisition and return processing, as well as handling of product through issuance to production
- Ensures food cost control
- Participate in determining par levels and order quantities based on airline specs, menu, and vendor lead-time
- Tracks product usage, waste, and yield in relation to requisition requirements
- Supervise personnel to ensure food is handled and stored in accordance with FDA, USDA, HACCP and airline specification
- Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of product to meet kitchen production schedule
- Conduct daily manpower planning and adjust as necessary to ensure efficient allocation of labor
- Participate in end of month inventory process
- Supervisor Responsibility
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
- Conduct daily work group meetings
- Schedule and control staff to meet labour productivity and overtime targets
Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards (example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.)
Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flight
Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Other duties as deemed necessary
Leadership
Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies
Make the companys values and management principles live in the department(s)
Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge required
In addition, one to three years of related work experience required
Minimum one year of experience in Warehouse management
Problem solving and leadership skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve productivity goals
Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required along with the ability to multi-task
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
