Job Description

FULL TIME
- 1st shift hours of 5AM to 1:30PM (Monday through Friday) Being bilingual is a requirement and the need to communicate verbally, read, and write efficiently in English and Spanish fluently is not negotiable. The 1st shift supervisor will oversee all activities in relations to the manufacturing, and assembly process of the products built in the Henderson warehouse. This person will monitor the efficiency of the department, improve operating processes, including training, quality of product, safety, and inventory control, while ensuring all companies policies and procedures are being followed. The 1st shift supervisor will work directly with the Production Team, Logistics & Inventory Control Specialists, and other team members in the manufacturing process. This person will report to the Production Supervisor.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity Spend 85% of time assisting the production lines to help meet daily expectations Oversee safe use of equipment Repair equipment as needed Keep equipment in good working condition Perform verification of production output according to specifications Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards Lead Lean manufacturing principles

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS
Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills Excellent leadership and decision-making skills Great communication and interpersonal skills Manufacturing experience a must Lean Manufacturing process a PLUS Basic Mechanical knowledge
