Job Summary We are seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Management Coordinator to oversee and optimize our inventory processes, warehouse operations, and supply chain activities. This role is essential in ensuring accurate stock control, efficient logistics, and seamless order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, supply chain expertise, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Duties Shipping & Receiving Operations Manage and oversee all inbound and outbound shipping functions, ensuring carrier pickups, deliveries, and dock schedules run efficiently and on time. Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damage issues, escalating as needed. Ensure accurate receipt, inspection, and putaway of incoming materials and components, and verify outbound orders for accuracy prior to release. Maintain compliance with shipping documentation, labeling, and carrier requirements across all outbound freight. Inventory Control Control daily inventory levels through a hybrid cycle counting and physical inventory counting program, ensuring accuracy across raw materials, components, and finished goods. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Partner with purchasing and production teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and support accurate demand and reorder planning. Maintain organized, accurately labeled storage locations that support efficient picking, put-away, and counting. Finished Goods & Pick and Pack Own the Finished Goods program end-to-end, ensuring completed orders are accurately staged, stored, and prepared for shipment. Own the Pick and Pack program, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and quality-checked accurately and efficiently to meet customer delivery expectations. Continuously evaluate pick, pack, and staging workflows to reduce errors, improve throughput, and support order accuracy metrics. Safety & Continuous Improvement Support a strong safety culture through active involvement and participation on the operations safety committee, including attending meetings and helping implement corrective actions. Model and reinforce safe material handling, equipment operation, and warehouse practices among team members. Actively participate in Lean manufacturing process improvement events and planning, contributing ideas and supporting implementation of process changes within the warehouse. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations roles with a focus on inventory control. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, Fishbowl or similar platforms. Hands-on experience with procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, and contracts. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics and shipping & receiving procedures. Mechanical knowledge or understanding of materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous. Ability to practice in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
