You will be the one to ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. You must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have comprehensive knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. The goal is to ensure that the shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities Responsible for daily open orders management/Ecommerce orders, communication and trouble shooting Manage all lead-times and deadlines Manage all critical documents such as advanced shipping notice, carton labels, pick slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices etc. and ensure details and costs match to purchase orders. Prepare and create labels, bar codes and other features of completed orders Collaborate with Account Coordinators to optimize processes Resolve issues or chargebacks regarding shipped orders Process orders returned (Ecommerce/Dropship) Ensure compliance with the client's policies Report to director of Chain Accounts or one of the Account Coordinators on activities and issues Skills Proven shipping experience Solid knowledge of logistics procedures Experience in using EDI and preparing shipping documents Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Excel Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates Excellent organizational and communication skills Attention to detail Problem-solving abilities Good people skills College degree Familiar with UPS / Starship / Stamp.com
