As a Warehouse Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational success of our warehouse within a client facility. This salaried exempt position requires a combination of hands-on execution and independent problem-solving. You will be responsible for managing daily inventory workflows, using scanning systems to drive accuracy, and making real-time decisions that impact warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your insights and judgment will support internal process improvements, accuracy, and client expectations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Pulse's mission while operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership within your designated warehouse zone.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage daily inventory tasks such as scanning, staging, and verification to ensure accuracy, flow, and productivity in line with shipment timelines.
  • Operate hand dollies while using inventory management systems to make real-time decisions that support product movement and availability.
  • Conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and adjust data in warehouse systems as necessary. Proactively address and resolve variances before they affect operations.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in warehouse procedures and recommend improvements that align with safety, efficiency, and accuracy goals.
  • Use discretion to troubleshoot issues on-site, escalate appropriately, and implement workarounds to avoid operational delays.
  • Perform routine product inspections, correct staging errors, and coach peers when needed to uphold quality expectations.
  • Serve as a liaison between Pulse and client-side leads, providing updates, solving issues, and ensuring alignment on expectations and outcomes.
  • Model safety-first behavior and reinforce OSHA compliance and warehouse safety standards with others.
  • Maintain clear records of counts, inspections, or escalations. Report updates to supervisors and assist in weekly warehouse reviews.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new associates by sharing process knowledge and expectations within your designated area.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably with exposure to inventory systems or operations decision-making Familiarity with WMS tools, scanning devices, and Microsoft Excel Ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to identify and solve operational problems independently Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods Strong sense of accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA standards
