Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain precise stock levels and facilitate inventory audits. Coordinate warehouse distribution efforts, optimizing processes for speed and cost-effectiveness while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, providing training on forklift operation, heavy lifting techniques, and materials handling best practices. Implement process improvements to enhance workflow, reduce errors, and increase overall productivity across warehouse operations. Oversee logistics coordination with third-party logistics providers to meet delivery deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to OSHA standards, forklift operation, heavy lifting, and mechanical knowledge requirements. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in inventory control.
