Warehouse Lead As a Warehouse Lead, you will be at the forefront of interfacing and engaging with our customer base to ensure we meet and exceed expectations. The position is full time (40 hours per week; Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm). This person should have a current forklift driving certificate and 5+ years or more of experience in narrow aisle double-deep forklift driving, warehousing, distribution, and preferably in the retail sector. We offer a family-oriented work environment with competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and a highly dynamic work environment Responsibilities Operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet trucks in compliance with industrial safety standards. Assist with new-hire orientation and train all Warehouse Associates. Assist the warehouse supervisor to train, coach, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team. Perform basic supervisory tasks (excluding formal performance management). Directs work assignments to employees. Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives. Facilitate the loading and unloading of merchandise to and from trucks or containers (once a month). Ensure compliance with requirements and participate in taking inventory of product in warehouses including counting spare parts. Oversee accuracy and organization during unloading/inspection of all incoming goods. Conduct accuracy/quality audits verifying quantity/quality of product. Organize pallets of stored product within the logistics storage warehouses ensuring effective identification and rotation of stored product (first in, first out). Coordinate in conjunction with the Warehouse Lead and Operations Manager the receipt or delivery of products. Record product movements from the warehouses under the responsibility of Logistics ensuring the complete and correct completion of the product delivery. Report in a timely manner, evidence of changes in the presentation of stored product that affect its quality. Report any new developments that occur during the working day to the logistics management. Ensure the daily order and cleanliness of the warehouses. Ensure compliance with the loading of export orders and unloading of product from imports. Verify the correct operation of the forklift and inform the maintenance area in case of equipment failure. Support inventory management. Perform non-routine work tasks (if applicable)
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience operating forklifts 10 years of experience in warehoue environments Must have authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver's license Must be able to pass a 10-year background check High school diploma or GED is preferred Must be an honest and ethical person A person who is organized and structured with work Someone patient and able to work with others Someone who is a decision maker A person who knows how to handle groups and relates well to others in the workplace Ability to read, do basic math calculations, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English and Spanish for safety purposes, work instructions, policies, etc. Spanish 100% English 20% Benefits One of our objectives is to provide a work environment that is conducive to both personal and professional growth.
