Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead and oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory control, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient warehouse distribution processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, maintain safety standards, and foster a team-oriented atmosphere that promotes productivity and accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence warehouse excellence while supporting the seamless flow of materials and goods. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of engagement and efficiency. Oversee inventory control procedures using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain accurate stock levels. Coordinate logistics activities to optimize distribution center operations, ensuring timely delivery and shipment of goods. Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts safely in compliance with OSHA standards. Monitor compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline warehouse operations, improve inventory accuracy, and support shipping & receiving functions. Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory movements, incident reports, and shift logs for accountability and continuous improvement. Support team development through managerial communication, coaching, and fostering a positive work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within distribution center operations or similar environments. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory management systems (such as WMS), and logistics coordination. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent managerial communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment like forklifts and RF scanners safely. Familiarity with lean management principles to drive process improvement initiatives. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and materials handling. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and other manual tasks required in warehouse settings. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and shipping & receiving procedures. $32,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
