Job Description
We are currently hiring two Warehouse Supervisors to join our team in Sarasota— one for 1st shift and one for 2nd shift . The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of up to 25 associates and be responsible for ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently, and according to customer expectations. Responsibilities may include unloading, picking, packaging, labeling, sorting, stacking, sanitation, and other warehouse activities. This position works closely with the customer to ensure service expectations are consistently met. The Supervisor will also provide direction and support to leads, trainers, and warehouse associates. The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Site Manager . Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of up to 25 warehouse associates . Direct daily warehouse activities, including unloading, picking, labeling, sorting, packing, stacking, and sanitation. Ensure associates follow company and customer safety procedures. Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and overall team performance. Train, coach, and develop associates to improve performance and productivity. Communicate effectively with customers and address concerns promptly and professionally. Investigate and resolve customer issues involving damaged products, equipment, delays, or other service concerns. Make appropriate adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure each shift operates efficiently, effectively, and profitably. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, leads, trainers, and coworkers. Operate warehouse equipment safely and ensure equipment is properly maintained. Follow all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment. At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience training, coaching, and developing associates. Ability to effectively manage team performance and address performance concerns. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Dependable and reliable. Ability to operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely. Ability to consistently lift 20-40 lbs. Physical & Work Environment Requirements This is an active warehouse position. Supervisors must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and performing physical warehouse tasks as needed.
