Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of aviation materials, engines, and components in compliance with FAA regulations. Accuracy documentation, proper handing of high-value items, and timely coordination with logistics and production teams to support operational efficiency and safety. This role ensures alignment withFAA/EASA
regulatory requirements while driving operational efficiency, financial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position partners closely with all technical departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies. Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and FAA standards. Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems to reflect material movements. Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and traceability for all materials. Handle engines, engine stands, and high-value components with care and precision. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Coordinate with logistics and production teams to prioritize material flow and meet operational deadlines. Photograph incoming and outgoing materials for documentation and quality assurance. Report any discrepancies, hazards, or issues to the supervisor promptly.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Required. Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations; aviation experience preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely (certification preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft office.Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Combination of office and production floor environments. Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, etc., as job may require. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies. May require occasional extended hours, weekend support, or travel to support operational needs, audits, or customer requirements.
