Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, highly organized Automotive Rental Operations Coordinator to assist with the day- to-day operation of a growing rental vehicle business. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure, customer-facing position that combines front-office responsibilities with hands-on vehicle and fleet operations. This is not a traditional desk-only administrative role. The ideal candidate has experience in car rental operations, automotive retail, auto parts, fleet operations, or basic automotive maintenance. Candidates with previous experience at companies such as Enterprise Rent-A- Car, AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, or similar automotive businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities  Greet and assist rental customers in person.  Answer customer questions and resolve routine rental issues.  Process rental paperwork, agreements, extensions, payments, and vehicle returns.  Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.  Coordinate vehicle pickups, drop-offs, and customer appointments.  Monitor vehicle availability and help organize fleet assignments.  Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after rentals.  Identify common vehicle maintenance issues and communicate repair needs.  Check oil, coolant, tires, fluids, batteries, and other basic vehicle components.  Perform or assist with basic maintenance such as oil changes, battery replacement, tire changes, and similar tasks when necessary.  Use basic automotive hand tools safely and correctly.  Lightly clean and prepare vehicles between customers.  Move vehicles between locations, repair facilities, emissions facilities, and other business locations as needed.  Work directly with management, mechanics, customers, and other team members to keep daily operations moving efficiently.  Assist with other operational duties as business needs arise. What We're Looking For This position requires someone who can think quickly, communicate professionally, and stay organized while handling multiple responsibilities at once. Applicants should be comfortable transitioning between helping a customer at the front desk, completing paperwork, inspecting a vehicle, addressing a maintenance concern, and coordinating the next rental - all within the same shift. Required Qualifications  Valid Georgia Driver's License.  Clean and dependable driving habits.  Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.  Ability to use basic automotive tools.  Ability to perform basic tasks such as checking fluids, changing a tire, replacing a battery, or assisting with an oil change.  Strong customer-service and communication skills.  Comfortable working directly with customers in a front-office environment.  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.  Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
