Exempt-2 Job Purpose Warehouse Supervisors oversee critical functions of the distribution network that supports supplying Honda and Acura's dealer body with Automobile, Motorcycle and Power Equipment Parts. The warehouse supervisor position is responsible for handling the distribution centers processes to include receiving inbound freight, stocking, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control functions. The Supervisor is responsible for setting the standard of performance for workgroup associates and manages results based on departmental and business objectives. Key Accountabilities Production Planning and Scheduling Operations Staffing and Development Quality Control Operational Efficiency and Productivity Employee Relations Facility Equipment Qualifications, Experience, and Skills High School Diploma or General Equivalency Associate's degree or equivalent job-related experience Minimum Experience Three years in a job-related field with increasing responsibility One to three years supervision/leadership experience required in related field Previous exemplary performance in in a job-related field may partially compensate for lack of supervisory experience Proven ability to handle projects from creation to completion Knowledge of automobile, motorcycle and power equipment lines is a plus Ability to develop associates What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
