Job Description

Hours 2:30 pm to 11 pm 10 hours shift Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual (fluent in English and another spanich ) Team Lead for our warehouse operations. This leadership role is essential in overseeing daily distribution center activities, managing a diverse team, and ensuring efficient warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a proactive approach to process improvement. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity within a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Coordinate the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to optimize workflow. Oversee inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate efficient order fulfillment. Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate distribution center operations and improve overall efficiency. Manage shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Conduct regular audits of inventory control procedures to prevent discrepancies and loss. Communicate effectively with team members and management through managerial communication strategies. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain management. Proven leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or team management experience. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems. Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies including lean management practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation tasks. Excellent communication skills in both English and the second language; bilingual proficiency is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures within distribution centers. This role is integral to maintaining operational excellence within our distribution center.
