Job Description

We are a third party logistics Organization in the Georgia area providing ports drayage and warehouse operations to our numerous customers. We are currently expanding our operations and seeking a qualified Warehouse Supervisor to support our business and also facilitate compliance. This is a supervisory position responsible for the following functions: Tasks and Responsibilities Assists in development and execution of operational strategies to optimize efficiencies and productivity in the warehouse. Researches and identifies best practices and trends in the marketplace; implements innovative ideas to drive progress and continuous improvement. Ensures inventory is received appropriately and efficiently processed in the warehouse; maintains inventory integrity to acceptable metrics. Defines and develops quality control standards for outbound freight. Establishes clear expectations and priorities for the team to drive an environment focused on accountability, efficiency and value added Customer service. Develops programs to maximize staffing efficiency while exceeding quality standards. Manages an optimization of labor, space, supplies and equipment within budget; communicates and adjusts resources to meet Financial and Customer goals. Provides periodic update to Management team, with respect to operational developments. Develops and implements specific metrics and dashboard to measure success. Manages technology, in conjunction with IT, to ensure data is captured and reported accurately. Such other functions as may be assigned by the Director Operations, or Management team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive WMS experience a must. Trinium, Exotrac, and Softpoint experience a plus. Prior knowledge and experience of freight trans-loading required. Yard management and freight security experience a requirement. Customs Bonded warehouse operations (CFS) and C-TPAT experience required. Capacity to build relationships internally and externally, solid oriented leadership skills. Strong analytical, financial and P&L skills required. Strong communications skills (both oral and written). Strong strategic planning and organizational skills are necessary. Must be a creative, forward, positive thinker and team-oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
Education and Experience:
High School degree required , BA perferred 3 - 5 years of Warehouse Management experience (supply chain management, demand and capacity management, inventory management, transportation management, order fulfillment, and leadership).
