Approximately one weekend per month Position Overview ABEC Elevator is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager & Operations Coordinator to support our field and operations teams. This is not strictly a warehouse position. This role combines warehouse management, receiving, material staging, field deliveries, technician scheduling, CRM administration, timecard review, service ticket closeout, and after-hours dispatch support. The person in this position plays an important role in making sure our elevator mechanics have the materials, information, and scheduling support they need to perform their work efficiently. Punctuality and dependability are essential. This position begins at 6:00 AM Monday through Friday, as the Warehouse Manager is responsible for opening the shop and ensuring technicians can access and gather the materials needed for their scheduled work. Key Responsibilities Open and prepare the warehouse/shop for technicians each morning. Receive incoming elevator parts, materials, equipment, and deliveries. Locate and verify the appropriate paperwork for incoming shipments. Verify part numbers, quantities received, shortages, backorders, incorrect items, and damaged materials. Document received quantities and maintain accurate receiving records. Maintain separate Pre-Staging and Ready Work Order areas. Pull, organize, label, and stage materials for technician work orders. Verify required materials are received before material-dependent work is considered ready for scheduling. Load and unload company vehicles and warehouse materials. Deliver parts and materials to technicians and job sites as needed. Drive company trucks and long-bed trailers, including in heavy traffic and downtown environments. Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other applicable material-handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, staging areas, and work environment. Assist with technician scheduling and create/manage Service Activities within the company CRM. Review technician timecards and completed Service Activities daily for completeness and accuracy. Review technician notes and documentation before closing Service Activity tickets. Close completed tickets within the CRM daily. Assist the Director of Operations with technician scheduling, manpower coordination, job readiness, and other daily operational needs. Participate in the rotating weekend on-call/dispatch schedule, generally one weekend per month, which includes monitoring and responding to the company's 24-hour service call line. Perform additional warehouse, delivery, operational, and administrative duties as needed. Driving & Physical Requirements Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record acceptable for operation of company vehicles. Applicants must be comfortable and capable of safely operating a company truck with a long-bed trailer , including maneuvering, backing, parking, and driving in congested downtown and heavy-traffic environments.
