Overview:

We are looking for skilled candidates with strong leadership, and excellent attention to detail for the position of Shift Lead. Leads are responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, managing inventory by utilizing tablet, scanning equipment, directing your team among other duties.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, give job assignments to warehouse workers and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Analyze department shipmaster to ensure proper action towards scheduled loads going out day of. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse. Adhere to Shipping and Receiving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs.) Analyze and complete reports include: Fifo, consolidations, location short terms, cycle counts and other related reports. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory. Provide back-up support for receiving and inventory coordinator. Train warehouse employees.

• Work with customer support with all transportation issues regarding outbounds.
• Hold meetings with employees at the beginning of shift. Discuss workload, safety, assign task, and other important information that's need prior to start of shift Learn and understand the PPS system. Ensure all transactions pre done correctly in the system.
• Support production with their material needs daily.
• Send emails daily as needed.

Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury, accident, near miss, and/or any unsafe condition to Manager. Supports food safety, quality and legality. Follow all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
