Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and dependable Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee day-to-day shipping and receiving operations at our warehouse. This is a working lead role, ideal for someone with warehouse experience who can take initiative, manage daily priorities, and support a small team that includes one forklift operator.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute daily shipping and receiving tasks Check inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and proper documentation Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and customer service to ensure timely movement of goods Monitor inventory levels and assist with basic stock counts Operate a forklift (as needed) and oversee safe equipment usage Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Troubleshoot and resolve basic shipping issues with minimal supervision Report directly to warehouse manager

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations Prior experience in a lead or key support role is preferred Forklift operation experience required (minimum 1 year) Familiarity with pallet jacks, or similar equipment Strong communication and basic problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Basic computer or scanner use (for shipping labels, logs, etc.)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Day shift (typically 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with some flexibility)
