This role is vital in maintaining smooth distribution center functions, optimizing processes, and ensuring safety compliance. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Coordinate with logistics providers and 3PL partners to ensure timely delivery and distribution. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance operational efficiency. Operate and oversee the use of forklift and other material handling equipment safely. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and RF scanners. Lead team management efforts by training staff, assigning tasks, and fostering a productive work environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse operations. Oversee shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation accuracy and proper materials handling. Manage inventory levels through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and customer service to support e-commerce fulfillment needs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes, layout optimization, and cost reduction. Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within distribution center operations. Extensive knowledge of warehouse distribution, logistics, inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with lean management techniques and process improvement strategies. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations. Experience working with shipping & receiving procedures, heavy lifting protocols, and materials handling. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a dynamic e-commerce or 3PL environment. Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments.
