Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement:
Partner with department heads to source and purchase parts, tools, and agricultural supplies; manage vendor relationships, lead times, and financial/invoice reconciliation.Inventory Optimization:
Administer and optimize warehouse tracking using the eMaint CMMS system; conduct regular cycle counts, audit data, and manage part numbering for complex machinery.Warehouse Logistics:
Safely oversee inbound/outbound freight, operate forklifts, and maintain an organized, efficient storage environment.
Safety & Biosecurity:
Enforce strict agricultural biosecurity protocols and champion the facility's safety programs and risk mitigation efforts.Qualifications & Core Competencies:
•Technical Aptitude:
Proven experience with inventory management software (eMaint or equivalentCMMS/ERP
platforms).Procurement Experience:
Solid understanding of purchasing cycles, PO processing, and vendor negotiation.Logistics & Safety:
Certified (or able to be certified) in forklift operation; strong commitment to industrial safety and biosecurity regulations.
