at Idaho Pipeline Corporation in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated, safety-conscious professional to fill the role as an Aviation Fuel Terminal Operator/Assistant Terminal Manager. In this position, you will be the backbone of our operation. You will mainly spend your time with hands-on field operations; safely receiving, storing, testing, and distributing bulk jet fuel to our customer, the Idaho Air National Guard. Additional you will provide vital administrative and supervisory leadership to support the Terminal Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fuels professional looking to transition into a management track.

Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Fuel Quality Fuel Transfers:

Safely perform receipt, storage, transfer, and custody transfer operations of bulk aviation fuels via pipeline systems.

Inventory Management:

•Conduct physical tank gauging, determine amount transferred or received utilizing tank gauge readings, meters fuel temperature and API. Determine gain/loss. Investigate excessive gain/losses

Quality Control:

Conduct mandatory fuel sampling (including Visual, API gravity, Conductivity Units,& Fuel System Icing Inhibitor Testing)to guarantee strict adherence to required standards.

Inspections & Maintenance:

Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and troubleshooting on storage tanks, pumps, filtration vessels, valves, loading racks, and meters. Maintain all maintenance records in accordance with DOT Regulations.

Environmental & Safety Compliance:

Strictly follow all OSHA,EPA,DOT and facility safety regulations. Act as a primary responder for emergency spill containment and mitigation protocols.

Administrative & Supervisory Leadership Shift Supervision:

Oversee on-site terminal operators, safety briefings.

Inventory Management:

Reconcile weekly/monthly inventory and investigate product variances.

Compliance Documentation:

Maintain flawless, audit-ready operational logs, fuel quality records, training rosters, and environmental compliance manifests (SPCC).

Vendor & Stakeholder Relations:

Coordinate delivery schedules with transport dispatchers, pipeline operators, airline customers, and airport authorities to maintain uninterrupted fuel supply.

Management Support:

Assume full operational command of the terminal in the absence of the Terminal Manager. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, lift up to 50 lbs, climb high storage tank ladders, and operate heavy manual valves. Experience in bulk liquid terminal operations, commercial airport fueling, or military petroleum operations (e.g., USAF 2F0X1, US Army 92F, USMC 1391) is desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and automated inventory management software is desired.
