Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facility & Logistics Coordinator to support inventory management, product packaging, order fulfillment, and local deliveries. This role is hands-on and essential to ensuring products move accurately and efficiently from production to retail, distributors, and warehouse partners. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing and distribution environment. Responsibilities Facility Operations Receive, organize, and store incoming inventory and finished goods Order Fulfillment & Packaging Assemble and package orders based on purchase orders (POs) Verify product counts, lot numbers, and labeling accuracy Load and unload trucks for outbound shipments Coordinate preparation of shipments Logistics & Delivery Support Load company vehicle or small truck for local deliveries Deliver products to grocery stores, warehouses, and distribution centers as needed Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries Ensure on-time delivery and proper documentation (BOLs, receipts, signatures) Inventory & Documentation Track inventory movement between facility, production, and customers Assist with Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipment records Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately Support product traceability (lot tracking and case labeling) Collaboration Work closely with production, co-packers, and e-commerce teams Support production runs and bulk order fulfillment Assist with special projects such as new product launches or inventory tracking Required Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or distribution Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly Experience with pallet handling, packing, and shipping operations Basic understanding of inventory tracking and documentation Valid driver's license (required for delivery responsibilities) Strong attention to detail and reliability Preferred Skills Experience with food or CPG products Familiarity with Walmart, Amazon, or retail distribution shipments Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with co-packers or 3PL warehouses Basic knowledge of BOLs, shipping labels, and case pack requirements Employment Type Contract or Part-Time (flexible schedule based on production and shipment needs) Potential for expanded hours during peak production or retail rollout periods Key Outcomes for Success Accurate order fulfillment with minimal errors On-time delivery performance to retail and distribution partners Clean, organized, and efficient warehouse operations Proper inventory tracking and reduced product loss or discrepancies Reliable support for scaling production and Walmart/retail growth Ideal Candidate A hands-on operator who enjoys physical work, takes ownership of accuracy, and understands the importance of getting products to retail shelves and customers on time. This role directly supports company's growth across Walmart, grocery retail, and wholesale distribution channels. Have reliable transportation and ability to deliver products to stores. Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform routine cycle checks Prepare products for shipment (palletizing, case packing, labeling, staging) Ensure facility cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
