Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisors oversees the day-to-day operations of the warehouse floor for our third-party logistics facility, ensuring the freight receiving, put-away, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping run safely, accurately and on schedule. The role works closely with the Warehouse Manager to support multiple client accounts, ensuring each clients specific handling requirements are met. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication and fostering a collaborative work environment. Oversee the operation of forklifts and other heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and manage stock levels effectively. Implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall warehouse productivity using lean management techniques. Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely distribution center operations, including shipping schedules and delivery coordination. Maintain strict inventory control through regular audits, accurate record keeping, and effective use of inventory management systems. Enforce safety protocols related to materials handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation to promote a safe working environment for all team members. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, and distribution center operations. Proven ability in process improvement initiatives within a warehouse setting. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, Microsoft Office suite, and RF scanners. Skilled in the operation of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments. Knowledge of lean management principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining productivity standards. $62,610.80 - $70,000.00 per year
