About the role:

As a Packaging Operations Coordinator for John Deere Mattoon Distribution Center located in Mattoon, IL, you will work on a variety of tasks such as: Key Responsibilities of the

Job:

Determine packaging and container solutions for service parts traveling through the John Deere network. Support packaging operations in projects related to safety, quality and productivity Perform general administrative tasks such as data-entry, document preparation and email communication to support third-party packaging facility's day-to-day operations. Coordinate the resolution of parts problems between parts distribution center, factories, vendors and dealers regarding parts identification, mixed stock, defective stock or unshipped orders Mandatory requirements: Experience working in a warehouse or production environment Experience Warehouse Management Systems (SAP) Knowledge of developing work standards Administrative experience Ideally you will have a bachelor's degree in business or supply-chain or equivalent related work experience. Preferred requirements

Skill:

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Critical-thinking and decision-making skills Ability to look at datasets Experience leading issue resolution amongst a cross-functional team

Education/Certification:

Ideally you will have a bachelor's degree in business or supply-chain or equivalent related work experience.

Pre-Screening Question:

What packing materials and protective fillers do you have experience managing? How would you handle an angry customer? How do you ensure accuracy and quality control in high-volume packing lines? How do you handle dangerous goods or fragile items during preparation?
