Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise and oversee a team of 10-15 warehouse employees to ensure daily operational goals are met. Communicate company policies, procedures, work expectations, and safety requirements to warehouse employees and ensure compliance. Monitor employee attendance, productivity, efficiency, and overall performance; maintain accurate records and provide performance information to management. Provide employees with clear and constructive feedback regarding performance and address performance concerns in a timely and professional manner. Develop and communicate employee shift schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and consistent adherence to assigned schedules. Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies to identify shortages, damage, or maintenance needs and promptly communicate concerns to management. Coordinate the ordering of equipment and supplies as directed by management and inspect deliveries to verify quality, quantity, and accuracy. Address and resolve workplace conflicts between employees in a fair, professional, and unbiased manner, escalating issues to management when appropriate. Maintain accurate employee and operational records to support payroll, attendance, performance tracking, and other administrative processes. Serve as a liaison between warehouse employees and management by facilitating communication, addressing employee concerns, and helping resolve operational issues. Monitor outgoing shipments and inventory to ensure products are in good condition and all required documentation is completed accurately. Ensure inventory counts are conducted accurately and on schedule, and reconcile inventory levels with stock balances to minimize discrepancies. Support daily warehouse operations and ensure workflows are completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company standards. Take appropriate corrective or disciplinary action in accordance with company policies and management direction when employee performance or conduct does not meet expectations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of warehouse team lead or supervisory experience. Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Lead, or similar leadership role. Experience supervising and managing a team of 10-15 employees. Must be able to safely and effectively operate a Reach Truck and sit-down forklift. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Strong supervisory and team leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to direct, coordinate, and oversee warehouse operations. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to resolve workplace issues professionally and exercise sound judgment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational records. Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and adapt to changing operational needs. 1st Shift and 2nd shift available
