This is a 3rd Shift position Monday-Saturday (rotating saturdays) 10:00 PM-6:20 AM Job Description The Production Lead will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of the production staff, while ensuring that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Essential functions
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff.
  • Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner,
  • Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and train employees to perform different jobs correctly and to build quality product efficiently.
  • Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes.
  • Monitor and document employee attendance and performance.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and workflows
  • Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Keep all required work-related records up to date.
  • Keep respected area in compliance with the general manufacturing procedures.
  • Recommend ways to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
  • Report machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel through documented procedures.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Proficient in all essential functions required in the molding operator job description. Competencies
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of production processes and equipment.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team.

Pay Details:
