CORE DUTIES

Oversee utility material storeroom inventory through organized staging, cycle counting, and systematic arrangement. Utilize heavy JLG machinery to maneuver utility materials weighing as much as 12,000 pounds. Ensure inventory accuracy and site organization by performing outdoor cycle counts, sorting, and damage reporting to keep the facility running smoothly. Execute the loading and unloading of freight from trailers and transport vehicles. Operate company trucks for local material transport, ensuring no overnight travel is required. Collaborate effectively with internal team members and external vendors to achieve project goals. Provide support as a yard spotter to enhance site safety during equipment operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent certification. Possession of a current, valid driver's license. Strong verbal communication skills to facilitate efficient task execution and spotting duties. Prior background in warehouse operations and inventory management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery in outdoor construction or storage yard environments. Familiarity with specialized equipment such as Telehandlers, All-Terrain forklifts, and cranes is highly desirable. Maintain a professional, punctual, and team-focused attitude to foster a positive workplace culture.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform repetitive lifting and transport of objects weighing up to 70 lbs. Capable of standing, bending, and lifting throughout the duration of the shift. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments across varying climate conditions. Ability to remain productive while working in extreme heat or challenging weather scenarios. Competence in handling and transporting long or irregularly shaped materials using heavy machinery.
