Full Job Description Description:
The Warehouse, Shipping / Receiving Supervisor reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for supervising hourly shipping and finished goods personnel. Coordinate office clerical activity. Maintain stock inventory records. Provide monthly reports on shipping department activity and finished goods status.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Supervise hourly shipping, receiving, and finished goods personnel in the execution of all finished goods warehousing, including stocking, picking, packing, receiving and shipping. ? Maintain computer finished goods data accurately and timely in AS400 for Michigan City warehouse. Coordinate the data entry of all incoming and outgoing stock transfer from and to all manufacturing locations as required. ? Monitor daily cycle counts for finished goods based on sales activity and the dollar amount of the product. ? Function as the primary South Bend contact for all stocking locations regarding finished goods inventory matters. ? Is effective in the ordering, receiving, expediting, changing, and cancellation of resale items. ? Coordinate the preparation of all shipment documentation including air bills, certifications, and export paperwork to ensure it is consistently completed accurately and timely. ? Provide accurate monthly report on productivity of shipping department. ? Maintain optimum inventory levels for all labels, bulletins, and warehouse / shipping supplies. ? Assure all incoming product and the daily operation through the receiving department is completed and processed accurately. ? Effectively monitor and processes accurately credit card transactions and notifies appropriate parties for problems. Key Performance Indicators (KPI's): ? Meet or beat quality goal of 0.13% ? Meet or beat OTI goal of 99% ? Maintain inventory accuracy at 96% or higher ? Support Warehouse realignment project ? Implement rewards program for errors
