Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead for the second shift to oversee operations, ensuring efficient distribution, inventory management, and team coordination. This leadership role is vital in maintaining smooth logistics workflows, optimizing processes, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong production management skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to lead a team effectively while adhering to safety standards and operational goals. The shift times are 3:30p-12a or 11:30p-8a Monday-Friday.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality. Typically supervises 10-12 employees. Coordinates with Department Manager to ensure daily production requirements are achieved. Carry out supervisory responsibilities including training of employees Planning, assigning & directing work to employees Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy Addresses complaints & resolves problems Ensures all production data is gathered and reported correctly daily. Supports & improves Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals. Ensures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessary as well as committing safety procedures set in place for the plant Ensures all associates meet GMP and dress code requirements. GMPs and SQF compliance are required.
