Job DescriptionEdit Assembly & Shipping Lead responsibilities include: Assemble equipment, ensure quality products and efficient operations on all product lines Work through work orders to meet deadlines and stock inventory Assist with inventory management and labeling, cycle counts etc. Maintain shipping times through various parcel and LTL shipping companies Job brief The Assembly & Shipping Lead will help Curb Roller be the leading manufacturer of high-quality innovative products and customized solutions in the Concrete Placement & Finishing Industry. We will always be dedicated to unparalleled customer service and a relentless commitment to our customers, employees, & communities. This will require excellent teamwork within multiple departments. The Assembly & Shipping Lead must be flexible to move from differing jobs to meet deadlines, and also work within parameters of a batch assembly processes to be efficient and timely for adequate product availability for sale. The Assembly & Shipping Department is tasked with offering great customer service through the quality and timeliness of products sold. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent multi-tasking abilities and be highly motivated to assist the team in meeting expectations of customer service and satisfaction. Ultimately, you will help us grow our customer base and build on Curb Roller Mfg.s' leading manufacturer of concrete-shaping machines and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Use tools to assemble or repair parts and products Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions Monitor inventory on all finished products and components to ensure adequate stock is available for sale Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products timely and efficiently Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures Keep a clean and tidy workspace Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise Work with all salespeople and internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas Learn the products and services offered, including the product and sales terms Attend meeting and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments Report and provide feedback to management Meet all safety requirements of the company
Preferred Requirements:
Attention to detail Skilled with mechanics Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Able to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for an extended amount of time Excellent communication skills Computer use competency Self-motivated and driven
