Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and reliable Class A CDL Driver/Excavator Operator to support underground utility installation projects. This role includes operating excavators, hauling equipment/materials and groundwork. Must be comfortable working on an active crew and helping where needed. Responsibilities Operate excavator for trenching and fiber placement Haul equipment/materials (CDL required) Work around existing utilities safely Perform daily equipment checks Assist crew with general labor as needed Follow safety procedures at all times Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience operating and digging excavators around existing utilities Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to heavy equipment operation and commercial driving Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality Must be able to reliably commute to surrounding areas
