Job Description

PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Florence, KY on the 1st Shift . If you have experience managing freight logistics, SAP systems, and standard shipping practices, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities Carrier & System Operations:

Operate computerized shipping systems (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and other major carriers).

SAP & Documentation:

Execute SAP transactions for tracking numbers and freight charges; generate and verify shipping documents, customs papers, and air bills.

Inspections & Quality:

Inspect outgoing packages for accuracy, maintain comprehensive shipping records, and pack orders as needed.

Customer Service & Tracking:

Request Proof of Delivery (POD) upon request and communicate directly with Customer Service regarding order discrepancies.

Daily Operations & Closing:

Perform end-of-day closing tasks, order shipping supplies, and remain available for extended hours if carrier pickups run late.

Continuous Improvement:

Maintain a safe, clean work area using 5S principles and actively participate in Shop Floor Management meetings and lean initiatives. Key Qualifications & Skills Hands-on experience with UPS, FedEx, and freight carrier logistics systems. Proficiency with SAP software for inventory and shipping transactions. Familiarity with international shipping, customs forms, and air bills. Experience in a 5S / Continuous Improvement manufacturing or warehouse environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Pay:

$19.25 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
