Our offering includes a leading portfolio from our trusted brands: Raychem, Tracer, Nuheat and Pyrotenax. Position Summary In this role, you will lead the local operations of a satellite warehouse. You will be responsible for day to day operations of shipping/receiving/inventory accuracy for materials and equipment within the warehouse. This role supports materials and equipment for local construction projects and direct customer shipments. In addition to the warehouse duties, you will be responsible for the office/warehouse facilities maintenance. This includes managing vendors and preventative maintenance schedules. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Operating a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
Using an advanced ERP system, such as SAP.
Understanding of all aspects of warehousing operations with a deep understanding of material movements. This includes, but not limited to, receiving, handling, and shipment of goods.
Active inventory accuracy processes covering cycle counts and clear organization around defined locations for managed materials.
Lead local inventory planning for materials and construction equipment, including reviewing stock for the proper mix and working with local teams to identify future needs.
Schedule and coordinate with local logistics companies.
Coordinate local needs for construction tools and equipment. Including checking in and out of equipment. Prior experience evaluating tool condition is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple vendors/contractors to assist in office/warehouse facilities maintenance needs.
Lead a facilities maintenance program to ensure building is well maintained and provides a positive and safe atmosphere for customers and employees.
Manage day to day workloads and prioritize tasks with little input.
Effective communication with project managers, sales, and field construction teams to drive high customer satisfaction. What You'll Bring Academic background in High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience: 3-5 years of relevant warehouse operations roles. 1-2 years' experience in a leadership position.
Skills SAP or equivalent ERP system
Microsoft Excel
Forklift certified Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: Daily lifting of 50 lbs or less
Drive/Travel to local vendors or project sites
Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed. Must have a current driver's license and pass company insurance requirements.
