Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure efficient operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff and drivers, fostering a positive work environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Coordinate the operation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels. Oversee the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Manage logistics coordination and distribution centers to ensure timely delivery and shipment accuracy. Conduct regular audits of inventory control procedures, reconcile discrepancies, and utilize RF scanners for real-time data accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including shipping & receiving, and materials handling to meet operational goals. Experience Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role within distribution centers or logistics environments. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with strong managerial communication skills. Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping & receiving, materials handling, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Hands-on experience operating forklift trucks and other heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, Microsoft Office tools, and logistics software is essential. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and materials handling equipment operation.
