Job Description

Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board certified physicians. We're currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator 4 to join our Warehouse Department. The incumbent will supervise warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement, shipping/receiving, and PeopleSoft system administration to ensure efficient and compliant supply chain activities. It also supervises warehouse staff through hiring, training, performance management, scheduling, and compliance oversight. Additionally, the role supports hospital operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating vendor relations, completing required reports, and ensuring a safe and effective warehouse environment.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here .

Job Duties:

Direct, coordinate and provide supervision for employees of warehouse operations. Provide Inventory Module administrative support. Review financial, inventory and staffing data as necessary to ensure operational effectiveness. Build Items, create Peoplesoft numbers for items and remove items from Peoplesoft Business Unit. Perform optimum ordering processes and prepares reports for Warehouse supply procurements. Review, revise, and implement policies and procedures specific to unit, annually as required. Effectively manage the materials stock request and fulfillment processes, which involves the online creation of internal orders, external orders, and inter-unit transfers. Perform online charges to requisitioning departments through the use of the Fulfill Stock Orders. Perform physical selection and distribution of supplies and commodities directly to requisitioning departments throughout the facility in a timely manner. Oversees and maintain a secure and safe Warehouse operating environment.

Work Location:

This Administrative Coordinator 4 position is located in the Warehouse.

Work Hours:

Monday -Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Career Progression:

This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.

Compensation:

The rate of pay for this position is $15.76/hour + On- Call Pay $3.00/hour.
