48,000 - 54,000 Job description:WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. Incumbent is superviors over inventory, picking line, shipping and receiving while also interacts with other members of the Purchasing and Customer Service Team. Incumbent supervises approximately 15-20 warehouse employees, drivers and warehouse equipment.Job Responsibility:
- Manage the physical operation of the branch warehouse including all shipping and receiving activities.
- Manage day to day activities of all warehouse and driver personnel.
- Coordinate with appropriate warehouse personnel on inventory stock levels and space requirements per management's direction.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory including setting shipping schedules, delivery requirements and when applicable, negotiation with freight carriers and other service and/or equipment providers to set freight rates or help minimize our cost to serve.
- Execute other responsibilities as needed including warehouse work, adherence to credit policy and purchasing support.
- Prepare warehouse for and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Assist in all products and service issues, purchasing, scheduling, facility maintenance, truck maintenance and warehouse/office housekeeping.
- Participates in job tracking and costing for allocation warehouse time and delivery time to facilities.
- Perform various other administrative and operational tasks - IE Payroll, job quoting, sales order entry, and delivery follow-up.
- Prepare performance metrics for management on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards and regulatory codes of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.

- Customer satisfaction is measurable and grows each year.
- Performance metrics are met regarding to on-time delivery, notification of backorders, and correctness and completeness of shipped orders.
- Warehouse appearance is kept in a neat and orderly fashion.
- All material is shipped, received, and stored correctly and accurately.
- Integrate corporate best practices into customer sales and service procedures.
- Work activities focus on meeting customer material and service requirements.
- Provide functional support to other customer service and warehouse employees as needed.
- Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards and regulatory codes of productivity, quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.

Skills Required:
- Strong Excel / Outlook Skills.
- Strong Verbal and telephone skills.
- Ability to handle several tasks at the same time and work well under pressure
- Provide effective coaching to progressively improve performance of warehouse and driver personnel.
- Work closely and effectively with warehouse manager, operations manager, account manager, purchasing, and customer service. Be an integral and cooperative leader and communicator.
- Help develop a strong and proactive safety program by holding regular meetings to discuss proper procedures and processes. Set clear objectives and demand conformance to provide a safe work environment while complying with all applicable government safety regulations.
- Ensure that company assets are properly maintained and serviced (ie.: trucks, trailers, forklifts, inventory, equipment etc.)
- Verify and ensure correctness and completeness of received materials and are properly recorded on the receiving document.
- Work in conjunction with management to ensure that all employees can work in an environment safe from hazards.
- Forklift and driver certification as required Qualifications
- A minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- Progressively responsible experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse and/or logistics sectors in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
