Job Description

Job Summary We are on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. In this role, you'll oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure the smooth flow of materials and goods. Your leadership will help optimize processes, improve efficiency, and maintain a safe working environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in logistics, and passionate about team management and process improvement. Responsibilities Oversee all warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of goods. Lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. UPS Worldship Experience Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery schedules. Operate or supervise the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently. Enforce OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance. Drive process improvements using lean management principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution center management, or similar roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of inventory control and shipping & receiving procedures. Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools for reporting, planning, and communication purposes. Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, lean management practices, and logistics principles. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials manually when necessary.
Pay:
From $70,000.00 per year
