Specific scheduling is still being finalized, and the successful candidate should be open to flexibility as business needs evolve Position Summary The Warehouse Senior Supervisor supervises and coordinates all activities necessary to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations across day and night shift operations, including receiving inbound packages and processing outbound packages. Responsibilities and staffing needs may vary between day and night shifts, and this role may be scheduled on either shift, including some rotation between the two, based on business needs. This role requires a strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards, excellent multitasking, leadership, and organizational skills, sound critical thinking, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prioritize and ensure completion of sorting operations across all warehouse facilities and route sorting, on both day and night shifts. Oversee linehaul operations, including inbound freight from clients and internal linehauls between warehouse facilities; communicate with inbound clients regarding receiving and scanning issues. Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations, and oversee proper maintenance of sort machines. Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment, including forklift safety, in compliance with OSHA regulations; ensure staff certifications remain current and compliant. Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to safety standards and regulations. Partner with the Safety and Compliance Manager on trailer location and ensure trailer maintenance is completed as needed. Optimize shift scheduling, labor planning, and workflow to improve efficiency and costeffectiveness. Conduct team briefings, provide coaching, and drive performance through engagement and accountability. Generate operational reports for assigned shifts and escalate critical issues as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and warehouse safety regulations. Ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Critical thinking and problemsolving ability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and precisely. Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, datadriven environment. Knowledge and Experience At least 5 years of warehouse management experience, including accountability for overall warehouse operations. Demonstrated strong management and supervisory skills. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods throughout a shift. Work is performed in a warehouse environment during day and/or nightshift hours, depending on scheduling needs; may involve exposure to variable temperatures, noise, and dust typical of a sort facility. Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled shift hours, which may include day shifts, night shifts, or rotation between the two, is required.
