Job Description
Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) of Laurel is looking to hire a Distribution Supervisor!
Assist the Distribution Hub Manager with the daily operation of the distribution hub, including assigning work, training employees, monitoring performance, and maintaining operational standards.
Accurately receive inventory from external vendors, including verifying shipment contents against receiving documentation, counting inventory, inspecting product, and identifying discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
Complete inbound receiving, quality control/count verification, and put-away of inventory.
Process orders and inventory movements through METRC and Dutchie , ensuring all system records accurately reflect physical inventory.
Generate outbound METRC transfer manifests for every delivery run in accordance with company compliance procedures and required management approval/sign-off.
Create and verify METRC tags and prepare inventory batches for scheduled deliveries.
Pick, pack, label, sticker, and stage inventory against approved internal transfer orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Verify product, quantities, labels, batch information, and required documentation prior to outbound transfer.
Coordinate delivery load-out and verify that each vehicle is accurately and securely loaded according to the applicable manifest and transfer documentation.
Assist with planning and coordinating delivery routes, schedules, vehicle readiness, and other delivery requirements.
Complete local and statewide deliveries as needed to meet operational deadlines. The majority of required travel involves a same-day return to the facility and is not overnight.
Safely operate company vehicles while transporting inventory between approved locations.
Perform physical and digital inventory audits to confirm inventory accuracy, recordkeeping, and compliance.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and escalate unresolved variances, receiving issues, damaged product, or compliance concerns to the Distribution Hub Manager.
Ensure all inventory receipts, transfers, adjustments, and movements are properly documented in METRC and Dutchie.
Capture all necessary signatures and maintain complete delivery, receiving, transfer, and inventory documentation.
Diligently record and report daily receiving activity, inventory transactions, variances, deliveries, and operational issues.
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and local laws, regulations, company policies, and inventory control procedures.
Cross-train Hub Associates and Drivers on receiving, inventory handling, picking, packing, labeling, staging, delivery preparation, and other hub procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and compliant distribution hub.
Work collaboratively with the Distribution Hub Manager and hub team to improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and compliance.
Work weekends and off-hours as required to support operational needs.
Experience with inventory receiving, order processing, fulfillment, distribution, warehouse operations, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to accurately receive inventory from external vendors, including shipment verification, physical counting, quality control inspection, and discrepancy identification.
Strong understanding of inbound receiving, inventory put-away, picking, packing, labeling, staging, and outbound delivery processes.
Ability to process orders and inventory movements through METRC and Dutchie from initial receipt through outbound transfer.
Ability to create and verify METRC tags and prepare accurate inventory batches for scheduled deliveries.
Ability to generate, review, and maintain METRC transfer manifests and supporting delivery documentation.
Strong attention to detail, including the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
Ability to supervise, train, coach, and hold team members accountable to established operational and compliance standards.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-starter who brings a level of passion, enthusiasm, and focus to day-to-day work.
Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and drive timely resolution of operational issues.
Ability to perform multiple complex assignments concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working in a shifting environment with a great deal of constructive feedback and input.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record that meets company requirements for operating company vehicles.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles and perform required delivery responsibilities.
Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings.
Must pass any and all required background checks.
Full knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements necessary to maintain facility compliance, including staying current on changes to applicable laws and regulations.
Must be and remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation.
Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
Must be focused and pay close attention to detail.
Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
JOB SUMMARY
The Distribution Hub Supervisor supports the Distribution Hub Manager in overseeing daily distribution hub operations, including inbound receiving, inventory control, order processing, labeling, packaging, staging, delivery load-out, and regulatory compliance. Responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, processing, storage, preparation, and transfer of inventory. Supervises Hub Associates and Drivers, ensuring all inventory movements, orders, manifests, deliveries, and supporting documentation are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company and state/local requirements.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
