Job Description
Overview:
We are a leading event entertainment company, delivering DJs, MCs, live musicians, production and photo booth experiences to weddings, corporate events, mitzvahs, and private parties across Maryland, Virginia, and DC. And we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to help manage, maintain, and oversee our inventory and equipment for events. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is charged, checked for issues, maintained, and properly restocked. You will also become an expert in our gear, serving as the go-to person for any technical questions from team members. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring successful event execution.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Charge, check, inspect, and maintain sound, lighting, and photobooth equipment for any issues. Become an expert in the use and functionality of all equipment, providing technical support to other team members as needed. Pull and prepare gear for upcoming events. Restock and return gear to its proper place after events. Ensure all equipment is accounted for and in working condition. Assist with inventory management and keep accurate records of equipment. Support event staff with last-minute equipment needs. Adhere to company safety standards while working in the warehouse.Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or event production environment is a plus. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs). Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Comfortable working independently and with a team. Reliable and punctual with good communication skills. Willingness to learn and become proficient with all event equipment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with event equipment and guide other staff members. You MUST live in Rockville MD or the surrounding area.Benefits:
