Job Description

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist will assist in the activities related to receiving shipments, inventory tracking, and assignment of construction materials to contractors. This is a part-time temporary position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assists with warehouse inventory and database. Assist unloading new materials and assignment of materials to contactors Assists the movement of products throughout the warehouse Assists in the daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed. Operates forklift truck and telehandler as needed. Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports. Performs other related duties as directed.
Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology. A thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (Drug and Background). Valid state motor vehicle operator license for forklift truck required. Valid Driver's License is required. Highline Services, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
